Healthwatch National Conference 2024
Pete, Noor, Iyinoluwa and Andrew went to Healthwatch’s National Conference on 12th November 2024
The event took place at the QEII Conference Centre in London. Local Healthwatches from across England came, as well as members of the Healthwatch England team. The day was a chance for everyone to network, celebrate successes and think about Healthwatch’s future impact.
Speakers included Louise Ansari, Chief Executive of Healthwatch England, and Baroness Merron, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Patient Safety, Women’s Health and Mental Health. The day focussed on the following topics:
- The NHS’s 10 year plan: what would good look like for patients?
- The future of social care
- ADHD & Autism
- Healthwatch’s use of digital technologies and AI
It was a very energising day and a great chance to catch up with colleagues from across the network. We look forward to the next one in 2025!
